Limoneira Launches Seasonal In-Store Marketing Campaigns

Limoneira Co. has launched two new seasonal packaging campaigns to nationwide retailers, the Santa Paula agribusiness company announced Tuesday. From Nov. 1 until Dec. 19, Limoneira will distribute holiday-themed packaging for its Meyer lemons. And beginning in January, the company will offer a “Mix and Match: Pair It Up” promotion featuring three varieties of lemons in a bag. “Lemons are mistakenly thought of as a strictly summertime item, but we’re here to help retailers show consumers that lemons are versatile, delicious purchases year-round,” John Carter, director of global sales at Limoneira, said in a statement. ... WeHo City Council On Monday Will Consider Putting Local Cannabis Tax On March 2019 Ballot

The West Hollywood City Council will consider on Monday putting a proposal for a cannabis sales tax on the March 5, 2019 ballot. The proposed 7.5% tax on recreational cannabis would boost the overall tax to 30% and is projected to raise $5.5 million year. Some coworkers and I go to get a spicy food lunch every once in a while, and normally it’s a last minute pick (places like Seasons Cafe, Sanamluang, Secret of Kitchen, Tijuana Tacos, Baby Elephant, and Bull Demon King). Our group has ballooned this month though, and I’m thinking we’re gonna need a reservation somewhere.
