TH Real Estate, Greenlaw Pick Up Whittier Industrial Property For $21.3M

TH Real Estate and Greenlaw Partners have purchased an industrial building in Whittier for $21.3 million. Indio Products sold the 153,080-square-foot building at 12910 Mulberry Dr. Indio Products has signed a short-term lease for part of the building. It will soon move to a building in Commerce, according to Jones Lang LaSalle’s Cameron Driscoll. Indio Products did not immediately return requests for comment. LA County Supes Seek To Establish A Minimum Age For Juvenile Prosecution

At the end of September 2018, California Governor Jerry Brown signed SB 439, a bill to ensure that kids under the age of 12 are excluded from prosecution in the juvenile court system, unless they have been accused of murder or rape. Under the bill, introduced by Senators Holly Mitchell (D-Los Angeles) and Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens), local law enforcement agencies are responsible for diverting children younger than 12 from the juvenile justice system. ... Originally founded in California, American Apparel is now owned by Canadian manufacturer Gildan, following brand founder Dov Charney’s series of allegations and suspensions and a bankruptcy auction. “It is kind of like putting yourself back out in the dating world. Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu was the only one of seven eligible players to accept his $17.9 million qualifying offer. Bryce Harper, A.J. Pollock, Craig Kimbrel, Patrick Corbin, Yasmani Grandal, and Dallas Keuchel each rejected his, officially making them free agents. Teams that had their QO’s rejected will recoup a draft pick once the player signs elsewhere. The company, which owns the labels BCBGMaxAzria, Ben Sherman, BCBGeneration, Bruno Magli and Body Glove, has announced the acquisition of outdoor lifestyle brand Dakine and all related intellectual property.
